case studies

alyson and jon were ordered by the Judge to attend one of our Separated Parents Information Programmes. Neither of them wanted to come along, and at the start of his first session Jon told us that he was only there because he had been forced. But at the end of the second session Jon said, 'I loved the small group setting and meeting other Dads in the same situation has helped me move on with my life. I was stuck in the past but now it feels like the bitterness has shifted'.

on her separate course Alyson said, 'It was on the right level, I thought it would be like sitting in a classroom and hating it but what we talked about has really helped me with the kids. They both said they've seen a massive change in me already. Plus it was great to know that I'm not the only Mum in this situation, that helped me a lot.'
