parent information programme
parents who are in dispute over child contact arrangements may be ordered by the court to take part in the separated parents information programme (often known as a PIP or SPIP). Each programme lasts for two sessions of 2 hours each and mum and dad will each attend a different course.
what is it all about?
during the turmoil of a divorce there are times when it is difficult to know how best to help your children. Through the Separated Parents Information Programme you will receive the support of an experienced mentor in confidential sessions within a supportive environment. These sessions are also an opportunity to share experiences with parents in a similar situation.
mediation works are highly experienced in dealing with parents in conflict. The programme we use is recognised nationally and delivered by specially trained staff throughout Shropshire.
this provision is only recently available as a means of support for parents to help their children and we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
